Overview.
DMK is one of the leading political party in India. We approached Thiru Sakkarapani (5 time Member of Legislative Assembly) to build an application which truly reflects his contribution to society. We launched the app with initial features like volunteer request, view achievements, view party calendar, get notifications from the party. There is separate section just for party workers to access party specific data. We implemented this with differential access control policies to users of the app.
PODCAST
Audio Player
Audio player is integrated and daily audio recordings of Thiru Sakkarapani are available to all patrons. Audio player supports all popular file formats.
UTILITY
Party calendar
App provides a holistic view on the party schedule with a simple calendar. Upcoming meetings are uploaded in the backend and is available instantly to the party works and the same is intimated via push notifications
STATISTICS
People profiling
Constituency workers data is fed into the app and login credentials are provided for each one of them Each worker can login to the app and can view publicly available data as per his region of control. Higher level party workers can see data spanning multiple regions based on their account credentials
CMS
Content with CMS
All data related to Thiru Sakkarapani is loaded with the help of a CMS and is available instantly in the app. This make it easy for them to make changes, preview them and go live in seconds.
